Forum Registration Problems Repaired

IMPORTANT MESSAGE To ALL members,
And more importantly, those trying to become a member for the past few months. The server had not been successfully sending out any email verification and registration emails to users trying to either create a new account, or reset the password for an existing account. Worse still, because the forum could not send any emails, it could not also send me the failure report emails, so I was not aware.
A member that knew me outside the site got in contact to explain the problem and that has led to a few days of very deep diving work on the forum and the site. Suffice to say that it is working now, so anyone wanting to become a new member will be able to, and those trying to reset their password will be able to.
I also sent out over 600 reminders to users trying to register so that they now can, if they still want to.
I am now working on a number of maintenance repairs and updates to the site code across many of the areas including the roms. More will follow in the coming months.
Thank you for your attention.
